As part of the World Surf League event called the Florida Pro I was asked to create an event poster and supporting artwork to be sold at the event as well as given to the winners of the tournament. ​​​​​​​

When drawing the main figure surfing in the illustration, I looked at a lot of surfing photography from various surfers attending the tournament. I came across Caroline Marks, whose surfing style would later become my main influence for the surfer in the poster. She is a usual resident in the top ten female surfers in the world, and went on to win the Flo Pro tournament, which served as a great privilege and coincidence when she got to take a poster home.  ​​​​

The poster art was also used on various merchandise, where I separated several of the main elements of the art to suit certain products.
